Myers as the Director - DB Nuclear Support Services, and Lonn?.c W. Worley as Director - DB Nuclear Assurance.

Tnis reorganization is a realig.a. ment of responsibilities,and reporting relatien-ships. This change dces not al:er or eliminate any functions or processes cur-tently being performed. The Nuclear Assurance Ecpartment will be comprised of the Quality Assessment and Nuclear Safety & Inspection Sections. The Nuclear Support Services Departreent will consist of the Nuclear Training, Nuclear Security, and Quality Services Sections.

Critical documents that reflect the structure of the organization and descrite how we function need to be revised as part of the effort to reorganize the Nuclear Assurance Department. These documents include the Updated Safary Analyt.is Report (USAR), NLclear Quality Assurance Manual (NCAM), ASME Quality Assurance Manual (AQAM), Policy Manual, and site procedurts.

The USAR, NQAM, and ACAM have been reviewed, changan prncesteed, and necessary evaluations (10CFR50.59 and 10CFR50.54(a)) completed to support the change. l USAR Change Notice (UCN) 97-032U describes the changes in responsibility and I inpact on the processes and procedures as described in USAR Section 17.2.

It is also irtportant to identify all required changes to nuclear group, depart-ment,  ;

and sectinn procerhires and ensure the necessary changoo are completed in a gg timely rnanner. A project plan is being developed by Regulatory Affairs in order en faci 14 rare a timely and i. ell. coordinated effort. The plan will identify those major activities required to fully implerrer.t the procedure and document M changes needed to reflect and Cupport the nei creanization. i l
