M Hi, I'm writing to get some clarification on your letter of April 3, =
1997 conceming our request for NRC concurrence for conversion of CNSI = to a Limited Liability
- Company, in your response letter, you stated that we should submit a request to = amend our CofC's and QA Program to reflect the new name, Chem-Nuclear =
Systems, LLC.
We would prefer not to burden your staff by requesting that our entire = fleet of cask's CofC's be changed at one time to the new name. CNS, =
Inc. is still a legal name, and we only wanted to indicate that we would = be operating under the new name so as to avoid any confusion on the =
- NRC's part when the name begins appearing on correspondence.
We ARE currently in the process of revising our QA Pro 0 ram documents to = indicate the new name, and will be sending those to you for approval = after completion. However, we request that you allow us to request name = changes on CofC's only as a part of a normal renewal or amendment = submittal, so as to minimize the impact of this change on your staff.
I I will be traveling next week, so please send me any comments you may = have by email. We can talk on Thursday or Friday to wrap up any loose = ends.
