On December 20,1985 (50 FR 51992), the major revision of 10 CFR Part 20 was .

published'in the Federal Register as a proposed rule. At that time, the notice was not distributed to all affected licensees and interested persons, because there were more than 170 printing errors found in the notice. A corrected proposed rule was published on January 9, 1986 (51 FR 1092) and the comment period was extended for an additional three weeks. The January 9, 1986 version of the proposed rule should be used for your study and general use.
