The Commission met with representatives of the Institute for Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) for a briefing on INPO programs and activities.

The following representatives of INPO were in attendance:

Zack T. Pate, President Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO)

Kenneth A. Strahm, Vice President and Director.

Training and Education Division INPO and Executive Director National Academy for Nuclear Training Walter Coakley, Manager of Accreditation INPO Stephen L.

Rosen, Vice President and Director Analysis and Engineering Division INPO INPO promised to provide to the Commission information on the chloride erosion process and data on INPO's rating of plant performance programs.

During the discussion on NRC's use of INPO's Nuclear Plant Reliability Data System (NPRDS), Commis-sioner Asselstine requested that the staff review the data available on check valve failures.
