Dear Mr. Chairman:
By letter dated February 3, 1986, the Commission forwarded a copy of SECY-86-23 to you as requested by Mr. Richard Udell of your Subcommittee staff. The title of this paper is " Emergency Preparedness Exercise for Shoreham." Confidentiality was requested for this paper as it was not in the Commission's Public Document Room.
Subsequently, your staff requested that a review be performed to. determine whether any portion of SECY-86-23 should be withheld under the Freedom of Information Act. This review is now complete and the Commission has no-objection to the public use of SECY-86-23. A copy of this document is being placed in the Commission's Public Document Room.
