Dear Mr. Muller:
This represents the 1985 annual report on safety / relief valve challenges for the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station as required by the TMI Action Plan, NUREG-0737, Item II.K.3.3.
The definition of challenges considered in this report is the automatic opening of the primary coolant system safety or relief valves in response to high reactor pressure.
During 1985, there were no challenges to the primary coolant system safety and relief valves on Peach Bottom Units 2 and 3.
