Your letter of October 1,1985 to J. L. Milhoan enclosed a copy of Mr. Richard Hubbard's comments on the Hope Creek IDVP report.

Mr. Hubbard's comments have been considered in our evaluation of the Hope Creek IDVP.

The NRC staff had similar concerns to those of Mr. Hubbard and these will be addressed in a forthcoming Supplemental Safety Evaluation Report under Chapter 17.5, " Independent Design Verification".
