This refers to your application dated October 15, 1985, and f!uclear Fuel Services, Inc. application dated October 16, 1985, requesting renewal of Certificate of Compliance No. 6273.

Since the certificate was first issued, the l'epartnent of Transportation (DOT) and ffuclear Regulatory Comnission regulations have been nodified to pemit the shipment of the contents authorized by the certificate in a DOT Specification 7A cylinder (package). The contents noti do not exceed a Type A quantity (i.e.,10 CFR Part 71, Table A-1). The " heels" are authorized by 49 CFR 9173.417(a)(7) and 10 CFR 671.10. The other contents are authorized by 49 CFR $173.415 and 10 CFR $71.10. A detemination rust be nade that the package neets the requirenents of 49 CFR 5178.350 (Specification 7A).

llecordingly, Certificate of Compliance No. 6273 has not been renewed and, therefore, is teminated.
