Results of Offsite Power Supply Tests During the 1985 Refueling Outage Gentlemen:

In recent telephone discussions, our NRR Project Manager, Pat Sears, requested that we document the completion of commitments made in Reference (b), concerning offsite power suoplies. Each of the actions has been completed as described below.

FN-85-134 - Commitment 1:

Maine Yankee will develop a testing procedure by August 30, 1985. Testing will be completed prior to startup after the 1985 refueling outage.

Resolution:

Procedure 1-22-4-1 was prepared and approved by PORC. The test was completed during the outage. Copies of the procedure are available for your review at the plant site along with the test results. In 1985 we found that voltages were acceptable; we plan to conduct this test during i

each refueling.

MN-85-134 Commitment 2:

[B]y August 30, 1985, Maine Yankee will implement a program for review and updating, as appropriate, our voltage system computer models. The purpose of this program is to periodically verify the adequacy of Maine Yankee's station service power systems.

Resolution:

Maine Yankee satisfied this requirement by performing Plant Engineering Procedure 17-301. Copies are available at the plant site for your review.
