Knowledge and Ability Statement Catalog for BWRs WRC Docket Nos. 50-10/237/249 and 50-254/265 i

References (a): January 9, 1986 letter from B. A. Bolger to D. P. Galle.

(b): January 14, 1986 letter from B. A. Bolger to D. P. Galle.

Dear Mr. Denton; i.

References (a) and (b) requested Conunonwealth Edison Company's participation in the NRC's effort to develop a Knowledge and Abilities l

Catalog for BWRs. A representative with both SRO and RO experience was l

requested from both the Dresden and Quad Cities Stations.

I Commonwealth Edison has been actively involved in the INPO accreditation process. Thus, the company is pleased to assist the NRC in l

its effort to validate the content of RO/SRO licensing examinations.

Towards that end, Mr. Randolph C. Weidner has been selected to attend the panel workshops scheduled for the weeks of February 24 and March 24, 1986.

Mr. Weidner is currently a certified simulator instructor on LaSalle and is assigned at Commonwealth Edison Company's Production Training Center.

He has recently held an SRO license for Dresden Station and was assigned as a Shift Foreman for two and a half years. Thus, due to the similiarity of the Dresden and Quad Cities Stations, Mr. Weidner's recent assignment as a Dresden Shift Foreman, and his current involvement with LaSalle Station, Mr.

Weidner will be an excellent participant in this effort.
