NRC INSPECTION REPORT 70-1257/97-03

Dear Mr. Femreite:

An NRC inspection was conducted March 3-7,1997, at your Siemens Power Corporation facility. The enclosed report presents the scope and results of that inspection.  ;

During the inspection, conduct of activities at the Siemens facility was generally characterized by implementation of effective programs in the areas of operations, maintenance, and surveillance testing.

' in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter, its enclosure, and your response will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
