OFFSITE DOSE CALCULATION MANUAL - REVISION 2 HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-354 Enclosed for NRC review is the Hope Creek Generating Station (HCGS) Offsite Dose Calculation Manual (ODCM), Revision 2, January 1986.

This revision incorporates NRC comments concerning Revision 1 of the HCGS ODCM.

We have revised the affected pages and included a complete List of Effective Pagen following the title page.

The X/Q equation has been included and a standard presentation of the deposition model has been provided.

The X/Q and D/Q data referenced by NRC have been incorporated into the ODCM, and the Maximum Exposed Individual (MEI) designation and the Site Boundary X/Q selection as originally presented, has been reinstated.

It should be noted that the NRC parameters vary from the HCGS FSAR parameters, being higher in most sectors and lower in others.

Therefore, the Site Boundary X/Q and MEI X/Q and D/Q values and their associated location have changed.

Also it should be noted that, because this analysis is based upon actual land use census data (Reference 7 in the ODCM), the location previously identified by NRC as the MEI is different from the one in this revision of the ODCM.

The location specified by NRC in the Final Environ-mental Statement (NUREG-1074) as being that of the Maximum Exposed Individual, does not occur in the ODCM referenced land use census.
