J. Nelson Grace In -previous correspondence of this subject, Georgia Power Company indicated that an interim report would be submitted on or before November 15, 1985 that would forecast a completion date for this evaluation.
At this time, a field walkdown has been completed.
The walkdown identified that there were forty-nine (49) instrument supports in the containment building and one (1) support in the fuel handling building attached to structural steel members.
A detailed review is Deing performed for the fifty instruments to determine if their seismic qualification levels could have been exceeded.
Additionally, a preliminary review has indicated that the instrumentation tubing and tubing supports have been properly designed. At this time, Georgia Power Company expects ~ to inform the NRC of the results of the evaluation of this condition by January 24, 1986.
