Regulatory History Documents Effective April 5, 1985, a regulatory history must be established for all proposed and final rules published in the Eedecal Registet. The history must be documented with an index of documents. All internal NRC documents must be accessible in the Document Control System (DCS) using the specific designator for the specific rulemaking notice.
Enclosed are the internal NRC documents to be added to the DCS for the uranium mill tailings rulemaking published October 16, 1985.
The required designator is AB50-2 and is shown on each document.
The documents should be added to the file, PR 40 49 FR 46418.
Please process these documents so they may be accessed using the designator AB50-2. I have also enclosed a draft regulatory history showing accession numbers for documents which are already in the DCS; please add the AB50-2 designator to these documents. added.
When you have finir.hed edding the designator and adding the new documents, please confirm their availability by retrieving a list of the documents f ron, the system using AB50-2 and sending it to me. As project manager for the rule, I am required to confirm the availability under this number to the Division of Rules and Records (DRR).
