-g-The tendon interim surveillance program was described in Reference Letter (1).
The initial " Tendon Surveillance" report submitted under Reference Letter (2) further detailed the interim surveillance program, introduced the PCRV Tendon Surveillance Plan drawings, provided general PCRV tendon information and reported the cause of tendon corrosion as identified through earlier investigation and analyses.
The report enclosed herein presents the findings of the first six-month interim surveillance period.
Included in Appendix A of this report are the revised and completely updated PCRV Tendon Surveillance Plan drawings. The effective start date of this first six-month period was changed from April 22,1985 (Reference Letter (1)) to the first plant restart date of July 21, 1985 (Reference Letter (3), Attachment 1, Part D).
Reported also in the enclosed document is the current status of the remedial measures being pursued for tendon corrosion prevention and improved tendon load monitoring.
The submittal of the enclosed report fulfills the first semiannual commitment of Reference Letter (4), Enclosure 2, Item.17c.
If you should have any questions concerning this report, please contact Mr. M. H. Holmes at (303) 480-6960.
