Dear Members of the Board:
At the reopened hearing on December 5, 1985, Applicants will present as witnesses the five individuals identified as appropriate witnesses at page 11 of the Board's November 14, 1985 Memorandum and Order (LDP-85-45).
We are not prefiling any written testimony.
Each witness will testify on oral examination.
In accordance with page 12 of the Board's Memorandum and Order, we have reviewed Mr. Thrash's notes of the STP Management Committee meetings on December 5, 1980 and January 22, 23 and March 20, 1981.
Since these documents do not contain any information that "may reflect either the reason (s) for HL&P's commissioning of the Quadrox review or,a relationship of the Quadrex review to the Phase I hearings," they are not being produced.

I Members of the Board November 29, 1985 Page 2 In accordance with the discussions during the conference call on November 15, 1985, we have conducted an additional search for documents dated between October 20, 1980, and January 31, 1981, including the document search agreed upon in my telephone conversation on November 20, 1985, with Mr. Perlis (speaking for these purposes on behalf of both the NRC Staff and CCANP).

Stanley apparently made during a telephone conversation with Dr.
J.R. Sumpter on January 2, 1981, with some subsequent additions.
On November 26, 1985, the Chairman of the Board requested that we provide the Board and the parties a copy of Exhibit #5 referred to at page 2091 of Mr. Thrash's notes of the STP Management Committee meeting of February 20, 1981.
