PRESERVICE INSPECTION PROGRAM RELIEF REQUESTS HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-354 Enclosed for your review are the Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) Relief Requests for the Hope Creek Generating Station (HCGS) Preservice Inspection (PSI) Program.
This transmittal supersedes the letter from Mr.
R.L. Mittl (PSE&G) to Mr.
W.
Butler (Nuclear Regulatory Commission
- NRC) dated November 18, 1985 and reflects discussions i
between the NRC staff and PSE&G on December 9, 1985 and January 10, 1986.
This transmittal provides all PSI Relief Requests with the appropriate technical justifications from any impractical ASME Code Requirements.
This resolves Safety Evaluation Report (SER) Open Item 3, currently identified as " confirmatory" in SER Supple-ment 4.
