Dear Sir:
This letter refers to the announced preoperational Material Control and Accounting Safeguards inspection conducted by Messrs. A. V. Wieder and G.
B.
Nelson from October 7 - 10, 1985. Based on the results of the inspection, two notices of violations, one concerning unauthorized approval of Form-741 transactions, and the second, dispatch of Form-741 transactions greater than the ten (10) day requirement. Our response is provided as Attachment A.
The attachment contains information regarding the PVNGS Special Nuclear.
Material Control and Accounting Program, which in accordance with 10CFR 2.790(d) is exempt from public disclosure, and should be handled accordingly.
