REVIEW OF HCGS TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-354 Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) has reviewed the Proof and Review Technical Specifications for Hope Creek Generating Station.
We have discussed and resolved our comments with the respective NRC Technical Review Branches and the Technical Specification Review Group.
In addition, PSE&G has reviewed the HCGS Safety Evaluation Report (SER) and Supplements 1 through 4 to identify and evaluate all Technical Specification issues contained therein.
A description of compliance to each SER Technical Specification issue is being prepared and will be submitted separately.
The HCGS Proof and Review Technical Specifications currently include the Standard '.echnical Specification requirements for the fire protection program elements as modified to reflect the HCGS plant specific fire protection program.
Subsequent to issuance of a low power operating license, it is PSE&G's intent to submit a request to delete the fire protection program elements other than the administrative controls, from the HCGS Technical Specifications.
