Task Order No. 3 under Contract No. NRC-04-97-036 Entitled l

" Analytical Support During the Implementation of the Resolution of i the BWR Strainer Blockage Issue" This letter confirms verbal authorization provided to you on February 28, 1997 by Rosemary Mann. with a temporary cost ceiling of $20.000.00. In accordance with Section G.5. Task Order Procedures of the subject contract, this letter definitizes Task Order No. 3. This effort shall be performed in accordance with the enclosed Statement of Work and technical proposal dated February 7.

1997 and revised cost proposal 1A dated March 6. 1997, which are hereby incorporated by reference.

The period of performance for Task Order No. 3 is March 3. 1997 through March

2. 1998. During the period of performance, the contractor may perform the subject task order in two 3hases, a base )hase and an optional phase. The I base phase will be for worc proposed by t1e contractor for Subtasks 1.through j 3A. The o]tional phase will cover work proposed under Subtask 3B. The i optional plase will be exercised by the government prior to the start of work i to be performed under Subtask 3B. Both the base phase and the optional phase  ;

will run concurrently, when the option has been exercised. The total cost  !

ceiling for the base phase is $107.507. The amount of $100.256 represents the total reimbursable costs and the amount of 57.251 represents the fixed fee.

The total cost ceiling for the optional phase is $61.341. The amount of

$57.196 represents the total reimbursable costs and the amount of $4,151 represents the fixed fee.
