SUBJECT:
DRAFT COMMISSION PAPER TO PROVIDE A STATUS REPORT AND MODIFIED APPROACH FOR FIRE PROTECTION RULEMAKING During the 439th meeting of the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards, March 6-8, 1997, the Committee decided not to review the subject paper.
The Committee, however, plans to review the comprehensive and integrated plan for transitioning to a risk-informed, performance-based regulatory structure for fire protection requirements after it has been developed by the staff.
