Corrections to Technical Specification Bases Pages Gentlemen:
l Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (WCNOC) has identified incorrect 1
references on two Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCCS) Technical Specification Bases pages, and requests these two pages be corrected per the attached markup pages and issued as corrected pages. The two corrections are:
- 1. Amendment 92 to the WCGS Technical Specifications issued a Bases page as page number B 3/3 2-2.
The correct page number should be B 3/4 2-2.
- 2. WCGS Technical Specification Bases page B 3/4 8-2 discusses several Diesel Generator surveillance tests as they relate to Regulatory Guide 1.9, Revision 3.
In the last paragraph on that page the " Fast-Start Test" is i
referred to as corresponding to Technical Specification 4.8.1.1.2b.
The f
correct reference is Technical Specification 4.8.1.1.2f.
Several
/
surveillance requirements for this Technical Specification were revised and
/
rearranged in WCGS Technical Specification Amendment 101, including the
" Fast-Start Test," which was Technical Specification
- 4. 8.1.1.2b prior to hh/
the implementation of WCGS Technical Specification Amendment 101.
The change in the number of the surveillance requirement for the " Fast-Start Test" was not identified for this Bases section in WCNOC's original license amendment request.
A copy of this request, with attachments, is being provided to the designated Kansas State Official.
