GPU NUCLEAR CORPORATION'S SUPPLEMENT TO ITS PETITION TO INTERVENE i
Pursuant to l'0 C.F.R. 5 2.714(b) and the Administrative l
Law Judge's Memorandum and Order of December 6, 1985, Petition-f er GPU Nuclear Corporation hereby files this Supplement to its Petition to Intervene in the proceeding afforded Mr.' Charles Husted.
GPU Nuclear Corporation requests permission to litigate, _
the following contention:
The conduct and attitude of Charles Husted with which GPU Nuclear.is familiar indi-cates that the NRC should not disqualify.
Mr. Husted from serving as'an NRC-licensed operator, an instructor of licensed or non-licensed operators, or a supervisor of operator training personnel.
t The basis for the contention is that GPU Nuclear management N
personnel have had the opportunity to supervise, evaluate and interact with Mr. Husted over a number of years.
During this time, Mr. Husted was considered to be a good operator, a good i

instructor, and a good training supervisor.
GPU Nuclear's ex-perience with Mr. Husted indicates that he is a man of charac-l l
ter and integrity who properly understands and appreciates the l
responsibilities associated with the operation of a nuclear
[
power plant, including the importance of training that is an integral part of stie operator's experience.
GPU Nuclear believes it is in its interest, including the interest of all of its employees, many of whom hold NRC op-j i
erating licenses, for it to be permitted to litigate the above contention in this proceeding.
