SIEMENS March 7,1997 JBE:97:033 U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Comrnission Attn: Michael F. Weber, Chief Licensing Branch Division of Fuel Cycle Safety and Safeguards, NMSS Washington, DC 20555
Dear Mr. Weber:
Ref:
Letter, JB Edgar to MF Weber, dated February 21,1997 In the referenced letter, item 4, Siemens Power Corporation (SPC) proposed a minor change to Table 1-4.1 under the " Component" column on page 417. In order to make it clear that the row describing controls on vaporization chests and autoclave applies to the dry conversion process both in the pilot plant and the new Dry Conversion Building, the words in the column entitled
" Discussion of Any Special Controls Used/ Additional Explanation of Control Type" are changed to delete " pilot plant" and add "or autoclaves".
Enclosed to effect this change are two copies of a revised page 4-17 for our license.
If you require additionalinformation, please call me at 509-375-8663.
Very truly yours, Jam s B. Edgar Staff Engineer, Licensing cc:
