ORNL FINAL LETTER REPORTS Attached for your information are copies of the ORNL final letter reports ORNL/NRC/LTR-96/29, "A Study of the Most Populous Check Valve Types Installed in Nuclear Power Plants" and ORNL/NRC/LTR/96-32, "A Characterization Update of Pump and Related Equipment Failure J Experience in the Nuclear Power Industry (1994-1995)." l These reports were prepared in response to NRR user need requests to support the current
- work on motor operated valve, check valve, and pump performance as related to recorded ;
- operational failures in order to access longer intervals between inservice tests. NRR has '
requested that these reports be made publicly available. Therefore, these final letter reports 1 have been placed in the PDR for public access.
