Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2 (TMI-1 and THI-2)
Operating License Nos. DPR-50 and DPR-73 Docket Nos. 50-289 and 50-320 Modified Amended Physical Security Plan, Revision 21 Enclosed is Revision 21 to the Modified Amended Physical Security Plan for Three Mile Island Units 1 and 2.
This revision is being submitted to update several of the plan's exhibits to reflect current conditions and update commitnents, and to provide clarification of the section concerning TMI-2 Vital Area Doors.
In addition, all references to cipher codes have been eliminated per the guidance provided in Infornation Notice 83-36 and discussion with Mr. D. J. Kasun, Chief of Licensing, Safeguards Branch, on November 15, 1985.
A 10 CFR 50.59 evaluation of the plan revision has been performed. The overall effect of this revision is to enhance the effectiveness of the Modified Amended Physical Security Plan by updating and clarifying existing sections / exhibits and does not constitute an unreviewed safety question.
This plan change is therefore being implemented under 10 CFR 50.54(p) without your prior approval.
