The reactor was shut down at 1300 hours0.015 days
0.361 hours
0.00215 weeks
4.9465e-4 months
.
On October 7, 1985, at approximately 2138 hours0.0247 days
0.594 hours
0.00354 weeks
8.13509e-4 months
, an inadvertent Engineered Safety Features (ESP) actuation occurred during performance of a surveillance test.
While establishing plant conditions for the test, manual blocks were not inserted prior to removing the Solid State Protection System from test.

There were no adverse consequences from the event since the plant was in Mode 5 and depressurized.
On October 31, 1985, the plant remained shut down awaiting fuel reload.
