USEC has purchased certain Russian experimental data which supports AVLIS NCS code validation in the 5-10% enrichment range. USEC is working with the International Criticality Safety Benchmark Evaluation Project to publish this data.
NCS code validation report will be drafted by June 97. This report will validate codes for AVLIS calculations in the 5-10% enrichment range.

Integrated Safety Analysis ISA being performed for AVLIS plant based on Draft NUREG-1513.
Hazards identification document will be completed March 97.
Systems-level failure modes & effects analysis will be completed April 97.
Qualitative preliminary hazards analysis will be completed November 97.

Quality Assurance Results of Integrated Safety Analysis will be used to identify risk associated with particular structures, systems, and components (SSC).
The QA Program establishes QA requirements for SSCs and activities in a graded manner commensurate with the SSC's importance to safety.
QA Program meets requirements of ASME NQA-1-1994 & 10 CFR 71 Subpart H.
1 QA Program description will be submitted to NRC for review and approval in early March 97.
