Enclosed please find a November 7,1985 letter from Braunkohle
, Transport USA requesting amendments to its export license XUO8586
! which currently authorizes the export of source material to the
, EURATOM Community for conversion, enrichment, and fabrication purposes
] and ultimate use as fuel in light-water power reactors (LWRs) located J within the EURATOM Community only.
l Braunkohle's first request is to amend the license to add ASEA-ATOM in
, Sweden as a possible additional fabricator. Braunkohle's recond j request is for a generic amendment to add Sweden to the export license as an additional ultimate consignee to authorize use of the material in the Barseback 1 and 2 Nuclear Power Reactors located in Sweden.
I Before acting on these requests, a letter of assurance is required that the material proposed for export to these facilities will be j subject to all the terms and conditions of the Agreement for J
Cooperation between the Government of Sweden and the Government of the United States. Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurance
