i DOCKET NO. 50-263 MONTICELLO NUCLEAR GENERA 1TNG PLANT, UNIT NO. 1 AMENDMENT TO PROVISIONAL OPERATING LICENSE Amendment No. 41 license No. OFR-22 1.
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Ccmmission) has found that:
A.
The facility will operate in conformity with the provisions of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the rules and regulations of the Commission; 2.
There_is reasonable assurance (1) that the activities authorized by this amendment can be conducted without endangering the health ~and'.
safety of the public, and (ii) that such activities will be conducted s
in compliance with the Co: mission's regulations; C.
The issuance of this acendment will not be inimical to the common defense and security or to the health and safety of the public; and D.
The issuance of this amendment is in accordance with 10 CFR Part 51 of the Commission's regulations and all applicable requirements have been satisfied.
2.
Accordingly, operating license DPR-22 is amended by adding paragraph 3.F to read as follows:
3.F.- The licensee may proceed with and is required to complete the modifications identified in. Paragraphs 3.1.1 through 3.1.17 of the NRC's Fire Protection Safety Evaluation (SE), dated August 29, 1979 for the facility.
These modifications will be com:leted in accordance with the schedule in Table 3.1 of the SE.
If any modification cannot be completed on schedule, the licensee shall submit a report. explaining the circumstances and propose, for staff aaproval, a revised schedule.
!n addition, the licensee shall submit the additional infomation identified in Table 3.2 of this SE in accordance w'th -he s:hedule contained therein.
If the information cannot be submitted :n scnedule, the 1fcensee shall submit a report exclaining the j
circumstances together witn a revised schedule.

This license amendment becomes effective as of September 26,1979*.
