- This letter will serve to confirm one telephone report to the Realdent NRC Inspector on August 30, 1979,.edvising of a report-mbig occurrence in accordance with Technical specification 6.9.1.a.
In response to an NRC question on Salem Unit No. 2 regarding RHR purnp NPSH during pont-LOCA recirculation mode, tests were run wMeh indicated that the RHR pump flow excaaded the design runout ttow.
Salem Unit No. I has an identical configuration end, therefore, a reportable condition exists.
A detai. led report will be submitted in the tJme period specified by the Technical Specifications.
