Modifications were made to double the gain of the scaled difference amplifiers without requiring, component changes. Spare inputs, which were previously grounded, vere used to sum each input twice; this in-creased the overall gain by a factor of two. All viring changes were made at the viring plane external to the amplifier module without modifying the amplifier itself. With this modificaticn, the amplifier gain vill still be set anywhere between 2.5 and 5 0 but will show acceptable scaled results without exceeding the maximum allowable gain of the difference amplifier. This modification was also necessary in Unit I because the cain setting at the end of Cycle III was already at 4.66 and it needed to be increased to 6.5 for the beginning of Cycle IV. ....'_._.._..u..
