In accordance with the reporting requirements of Connecticut Yankee Technical Specifiestions. Section 6.9.2.(9), the following preliminary report 79-03/IP is hereby submitted.
k'hile performing an inspection of scismic Category I piping syste=s as part of a program to verify operability which is required by IE Bulletin 79-02. Rev. 1. it was discovered that one pipe support on the residual heat removal system piping was not installed as per the design drawing.
The investigation perfor=ed showed that the existing support does not provide pecper scismic support. A support is currently being added to confor= to original drawingr and provide proper seismic s6pport. This vill be done within 72 hours8.333333e-4 days <br />0.02 hours <br />1.190476e-4 weeks <br />2.7396e-5 months <br />.
A follow-up report vill be submitted within fourteen (14) days.
