APPLICATION FOR ISSUANCE OF SUBPOENAS The NRC Staff and the Department of Justice, pursuant to 10 C.F.R. 552.720, 2.740, and 2.741, apply for the issuanc'e of the attached subpoenas, which call for depositions requiring the attendance and testimony of those listed, and for production of documents. The testimony and document production sought includes, but is not limited to, contemplated testimony in the above-captioned proceedings, competition for fuels and customers, engineering, economic, and business assessments of interconnections and operations involving interstate systems and the Texas Inter-connected System, awareness of opportunities for such interconnections, participation in nuclear units, and to factual background concerning the separation of the Texas Interconnected System from interstate systems. The subpoenas requested are for:
