Dear Mr. Hendrie:

. I am writing you this letter to urge you to prevent the dumping i

of water from the Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Plant. As Mayor of the City of Lancaster, I am gravely concerned about the consequences to the public water supply, which is drawn from the Susquehanna River.

Approximately 105,000 people use water provided by the City of Lancaster's water system. Their physical and mental well-being,

in regards to the water system, is ultimately my responsibility. l 1

I am urging you to also make their well-being one of your con-siderations in making a final decision as to the dumping of water in the Susquehanna. I urge you to prevent the pnssible hazardous ,

dumping of water into the Susquehanna, i Sincerely, l ESM Albert B. Wohlsen, khA rx Mayor ABW/dk l
