THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 1997, COMMISSIONERS' CONFERENCE ROOM, ONE WHITE FLINT NORTH, ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND (OPEN TO PUBLIC ATTENDANCE)
The Commission was briefed on the EEO program by the NRC staff and representative members of NRC's EEO advisory committees.
The Commission requested that the next EEO briefing be expanded to include a panel of office directors to brief the Commission on their implementation of-EEO program policies, including topics concerning pre-selection, development of management skills, and evaluation of those skills as a part of job performance.
The Commission also supletted that consideration be given to implementing the SEC cevelopment and supervisory development programs on a more systematic basis in concert with work force needs.
