Dear Ms. Chen:
By letter dated March 6, 2020 [1], NRC staff requested additional information (RAIs) needed to complete their detailed technical review of HI-STORM 100 Amendment 15 to the Certificate of Compliance No. 1014. to this letter contains the responses to RAIs 3-1 and 3-6. Attachment 2 contains the proposed changes to the FSAR which support the response to the RAIs. The FSAR utilizes track changes and yellow highlighting to identify the changes specific to RAI responses, to differentiate them from track changes used for the original submittal and RSI response. Attachment 3 provides technical information to support responses to the shielding RAIs previously submitted with letter 5014896. Holtec considers Attachment 3 to be proprietary information; therefore, Attachment 4 to this letter is an affidavit prepared in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 requesting that they be withheld from public disclosure.
