Dear Mr. McKirgan:
QSA Global, Inc. requests extension of the Certificate of Compliance referenced above for the Model 680-OP Style Type B(U) containers. The current certificate expires on 31 October 2020.
QSA Global, Inc. has previously notified the Nuclear Regulatory Commission via email on 11 January 2017 of its intention to not renew the Model 680-OP Type B Certificate. We do not want for a full five-year renewal of this certificate, but due to the current COVI D-19 situation we request a short term, three-month extension to the expiration date to 31 January 2021. This extension will allow adequate time for customers to return these packages for source disposition. There are no other changes or modifications requested at this time for this approval.
