We have abo received your two' certifications of permanent cessation of power operation and that fuel has been permanentlysremoved from the reactor, dated December 5,~1996,las required by 10 CFR 50.82, the decommissioning regulation.
We understand that Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company is undertaking a Configuration Management Project.(CMP) that will define the design basis for decommissioning of the site. After you inform us that the CMP is complete, we plan an inspection of the~ document at the'Haddam Neck site.
We also understand that the CMP will be used to update the Final Safety Analysis Report.
