FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY'S REPORT i

Dear Mr. Horn:

Enclosed is a copy of the Federal Emergency Management Agency's final report for the November 19,1996, Cooper Nuclear Station exercise.

The report indicates that there were 4 deficiencies and 13 areas requiring corrective action i

identified during the exercise. A remedial exercise was conducted on February 11,1997, which corrected the four deficiencies. One additional area requiring corrective action was identified. The results of the remedial exercise are included in the enclosed report. No response to the NRC is required.
