Technical Review of Draft Information Notice in Reference (b) the NRC requested that Vermont Yankee perform a technical review of applicable portions of a draft Information Notice and provide a written response within 30 days.
4 The Information Notice is being prepared by the NRC to alert licensees to potential failure of subcomponents in General Electric Type AM or AMH 4.16kV Magne-Blast circuit breakers.
As discussed with NRC staff on February 14,1997 [ Reference (c)], Vermont Yankee has performed the requested technical review and has no comments.
