Dear Dr. Trivedi:
Pursuant to our telephone conversation en June 12, 1985, it is our understanding that you wish to use byproduct material under the general license specified in Section 31.11 of 10 CFR Part 31.
We are therefore voiding your request for a specific license and will contact our Licensing Fee Management Branch regarding your application fee.
To assist you further, we are enclosing form NRC-483, " Registration Certificate-In Vitro Testing with Byproduct Material Under General License."
You cannot use byproduct material under the general license until this form has been filed with the Director of Nuclear Material Safety and Safegauards, Nuclear Regulatory Comission, Washington, D.C. 20555 and you have received from the Comission a validated copy of the form with a assigned registration number.
