NRC TO HOLD TWO MEETINGS DECEMBER 17

IN CONNECTICUT ON MILLSTONE NUCLEAR PLANT l
l The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will hold two meetings on Tuesday, 4
December 17, regarding the currently shutdown Millstone nuclear power plant in Waterford, Connecticut.

Beginning at 1 p.m. that day at the Leland F. Sillin Jr. training center at the plant, NRC officials will meet with officials from Northeast Utilities (NU) to discuss the company's plans for restarting the units.
The session will be open for public observation only.

Then, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the East Lyme Community Center, on Society Road in East Lyme, the NRC staff will meet with members of the public to provide an update on current agency activities at Millstone.
