Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Docket No. 50-416 License No. NPF-29 Core Operating Limits Report (GGNS-MS-48.0, Revision 4) for Cycle 9 Submittal GNRO-96/00131 Gentlemen Entergy Operations, Inc., is submitting for your use and information Revision 4 of the Core Operating Limits Report (COLR) for Grand Gulf Nuclear Station (GGNS). This report incorporates cycle specific information for GGNS Cycle 9 operation and is submitted in accordance with Technical Specification 5.6.5.

GGNS Cycle-specific reload parameters for MCPR, LHGR, and MAPLEGR operating limits are controlled by the Mechanical Standard, GGNS-MS-48.0, called the Core Operating Limits Report or COLR.

The analytical methods used to determine the Cycle 9 core operating limits have been previously approved by the NRC and are listed in Technical Specification 5.6.5. An extensive review of the changes associated with the Cycle 9 reload has been performed. This review included an Entergy Operations, Inc. technical review of fuel vendor k g calculations and methodologies and the GGNS design and licensing bases.
