sources. Rese quality-related activides include, but are not limited to, inspection and identification of each IXyr 6M upon receipt from IANL, or a Shipping Broker, ne, well as proper handling, packaging, inspessig, testing, and recording each shipment.

All documents related to each shipment of 239 uBe neutron sources will be P
controlled. We /),y o4 A/u /ca< la/,a 6ev shall assure that all rn*.r.. m __m QA functions are performed in accordance with the IANL manual.
4.
Handling. Storage,and Shipping Control (10 CFR I 71.127)
The procedures in the LANL manual will be followed concerning the handling, storage, and shipping of transportation packages. Shipments will not be made unless tests, cerufications, acceptances, and final inspections have been completed.
5.
Inspection. Test, and Operating Status (10 CFR i 71.129)
Inspecuon, test, and operating status of each transportation package for shipment of 239 uBe neutron sources will be documented. Transportation P
package status will be indicated by tag, label marking, or log entry.
