ORDER PROHIBITING INVOLVEMENT IN NRC-LICENSED ACTIVITIES (EFFECTIVEIMMEDIATELY)
Dear Mr. Bynum:
. This will ~ acknowledge receipt of your letter dated January 31, 1997.
In your s
response, you stated that you agree to comply with the terms of the Order to you dated January 13, 1997, which prohibits you from engaging in, or exercising control over individuals engaged in.NRC-1icensed activities for the period of time set forth in the Order and requires you to notify the NRC in

accordance with the terms of the Order upon initial engagement in NRC-licensed activities. This includes activities which are performed for TVA Nuclear under 10 CFR _Part 50, Appendix B approved Quality Assurance Programs and activities performed for TVA Nuclear affecting equipment important to safety.
Your stated actions in response to the Order will meet the terms _ of the Order and are, therefore, acceptable.
In addition, the Order precludes your involvement and oversight of licensed activities not associated with TVA Nuclear such as~those activities involving radiography or moisture density gauges'under'10 CFR Parts 30 through 34. To the extent that your oversight activities are not regulated by NRC in any manner, you may continue to conchet i
them and remain in compliance with the Order.
