Dear Mr. Floyd:
l We are responding to your June 18, 1996, letter that transmitted EPRI Report TR-106706, " Risk-Informed Inservice Inspection Evaluation Procedure." This document is the non-proprietary version of the EPRI Report TR-106218 that was provided to the NRC by your letter dated April 15, 1996.
You requested a waiver of any fees associated with the review of this
- document. You believe that your waiver request meets criterion three of footnote 4 to 10 CFR 170.21. This footnote states that fees will not be

assessed for requests / reports submitted to the NRC as a means of exchanging supporting generic regulatory improvements or efforts.
NRC has determined that the subject EPRI Report is non-proprietary and I contains a generic approach for risk-informed inservice inspection and NRC intends to use it in support of our planned generic regulatory improvement i activities. In my May 14, 1996, letter to you, I had indicated that the !
non-propriet:,iy version of EPRI Report TR-106218 is not subject to fees in accord &nce with criterion three of Footnote 4 of 10 CFR Part 170.21.
Therefore, fees for NRC's review of this document are waived.
