The purpose of this modification is to:
(1) exercise the first option year under the subject contract in accordance with Paragraph I.6 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract at the rates reflected under Paragraph B.3 Schedule of Cost / Prices CLINS 0201, 0202, and 0205:
(2) increase the ceiling amount of the contract: !
(3) extend the period of performance of the contract from December 9, 1996 to December 9, 1997. 1 Accordingly, the following changes are hereby made:
- 1. Under Paragraph B.4(a) Consideration and Oblication - Deliverv
! Orders, the first sentence is hereby deleted in its entirety and substituted in lieu thereof the following:
"B.4 CONSIDERATION AND OBLIGATION -- DELIVERY ORDERS (a) The total estimated amount of this contract (ceiling) for the products / services ordered, delivered, and l accepted under this contract is $3,166,928." ;

Under Paragraph F.7 Duration of Contract Period, is hereby deleted in l its entirety and substituted in lieu thereof the following- l "F.7 - DURATION OF CONTRACT PERIOD This contract shall commence on December 10, 1993 and will expire on December 9, 1997. The term of this contract may be extended at l l the option of the Government for an additional one year period." j All other terms and conditions under this contract remain unchanged.
