This letter confirms the conversation between Lewis Ward of your staff and myself on November 25. 1996, concerning a predecisional enforcement conference requested by us which has been scheduled for Dec.emNr 19. 1996, at 10:00 a.m.

The purpose of this conference is to discuss an apparent violation regarding 1

l the inoperability of the Unit 1 Train "B" Safety Injection Pump at your Vogtle l

plant. The location of the conference will be at the NRC Region II office.
