m This letter provides comments on the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's DRAFT NUREG - 1560 which documerits the insights gained through review of Individual Plant Examination (IPE) submitted by plants in response to Generic Letter 88 20.
South Carolina Electric & Gas Company (SCE&G) has reviewed Volume 1, Part 1 and Volume 2, Parts 2 - 5. In Volume 2, Part 5, Chapter 17, page 17-11, the summarization statement for Table 17.5 (last paragraph, third sentence) is in error. The statement
"(i.e., two of three EDGs for safe plant shutdown following a LOSP)" should read "(i.e.,
one of two EDGs for safe plant shutdown following a LOSP)".
This condition is presented accurately in Table 17.5 on page 17-12.
This comment is provided to enhance the accuracy of the NUREG as requested in the FOREWORD to each Volume.
